The Society provides single rooms with en-suite facilities within the companionship and security of a small household. Our aim is to provide care and companionship for elderly people in houses that create an atmosphere as near as possible to their own homes. This fabulous house has a lovely welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk through the door. There is an excellent team of staff who are committed to making sure that each and every one of the residents are happy and comfortable and regardless of ability feel supported. Viewlands House is set in a quiet residential area on the west side of the City of Perth in Scotland.
There are five premium rooms which are situated in the original part of the Victorian Villa and are much larger than other rooms in the house with high ceilings and superb views overlooking the city. There is a car park within the grounds should you wish to bring your car with you. Viewlands House provides Residential, Nursing, and Palliative care.
Special events are often held here including celebrating seasonal events such as Easter, Valentine’s Day, Saints Days and Christmas as well as a Summer Fair.
A challenge we all face as we get older is to think about where we live, and how it will work for us when we’re older. If you intend to ‘stay put’ where you are, then thinking and planning ahead makes sense. Contact with the wider Community is encouraged if the residents so wish. The staff are aware of the importance of confidentiality regarding residents' private matters.
